Anthem Anthem Revolution is coming to Solihull!

This July, Australian puppet theatre company Terrapin is bringing table tennis, music, robots and more to Solihull with Anthem Anthem Revolution. Participants are invited to battle a table tennis robot for the opportunity to unveil a new national anthem written by children embodying their hopes for the future.

Directed by Sam Routledge and assisted by Youth Facilitators Alex Walker and Davina Wright, the anthem was written in collaboration with Tasmanian children and recorded with Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.

Anthem Anthem Revolution makes its UK debut in Solihull this July, presented as part of the Birmingham 2022 Festival. The Revolution can be found from 21st-24th July in Solihull Town Centre between 10:00-16:00 in Mell Square, and on Tuesday 26th July from 10:00-16:00 at Lavender Hall Park in Berkswell, as part of a series of events commissioned by Culture Solihull to accompany the Queen’s Baton Relay.

Generously supported by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Arts Council England, Culture Solihull and The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
