Epic DOTA 2 Showdown at Resorts World Arena!

Solihull Council, in collaboration with the NEC Group, secured a bid for Commonwealth Games legacy funding. As a result, Resorts World Arena played host to the exhilarating Major E-sports event, DOTA 2.

From every corner of the globe, professional E-sports teams converged in Solihull, battling it out in front of a captivated live audience. Their goal? To claim their share of the impressive $1 million prize pool.

DOTA 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena game (Or MOBA for short) and is renowned for its intricate strategies. Professional E-sports athletes train year round, often up to 12 hours a day, in order to perfect their play style and compete at this high level. Amidst the intensity, Team Falcon emerged victorious, capping off a thrilling and challenging weekend.
