Meriden restaurant celebrates fifth anniversary

A popular Midland’s restaurant celebrated a momentous occasion last week having reached its fifth birthday.
On the day, guests at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, which is located at The Manor Hotel in Meriden, not only enjoying a delicious meal in the glamourous surroundings but plenty of fizz and live music.
Paula Moran, Group Sales Manager said: “There was a terrific atmosphere and guests and staff alike got into the party spirit.
“Guests were also able to celebrate by enjoying dishes from our new summer menu and complemented perfectly the vibrant atmosphere in the restaurant.
“We’re now looking forward to the next five years and can’t wait to welcome old friends and new diners to this fabulous restaurant.”
Dishes on the new menu includes Michel Bourdin’s Kipper Pâté, Mr White’s Gaspacho with Andalucian garnish, Crab cakes with Ravigote sauce, Gammon Steak “Marco Polo”, a Long Clawson Blue Stilton & Poached Pear salad and of cure a Great British Summer Pudding with summer fruits, fruit coulis and crème Chantilly.
There are also a range of dishes that uses a new plant-based ‘meat’. Developed by Redefine Meat, the restaurant is the only venue in the area to offer what has been described as a revolutionary ‘new meat’ and is hoped will encourage more people to try the plant-based dishes.
