Say 'Hello' to the latest additions in Mell Square!

Check out the latest blog from Mell Square!
The past couple of months have been non-stop for us here at Mell Square, and it has been an honour to welcome a host of new shops and restaurants to the centre, helping to serve the people of Solihull with an even more diverse shopping and dining experience.
So, as we’re now halfway through 2022 we wanted to share a round-up of all the new businesses who have joined the Mell Square line-up, and shout about some of the unmissable new tenants we now have on our doorstep:
Opening this week… Brew Twenty Three
The independent café that you’ve all been waiting for… we are so excited to be welcoming Brew Twenty Three and can’t wait to sample some of the amazing coffees, juices and bakes on offer when it opens on 6th July.
We’ve had a sneak peek and can tell you that it’s going to be great! As well as offering a drinks menu packed with coffees, smoothies and healthy shots, customers will also be able to order from their food menu, which includes yummy sourdough sandwiches, salads, overnight oats and granola bowls.
Toffs
Fine-dining eatery Toffs joined us back in February offering a tasting menu of up to seven courses, featuring modern British cuisine guided by the seasons to ensure the freshest produce.
The intimate venue, located on Drury Lane, seats up to 26 guests and is a new venture from local chef Rob Palmer, who previously led Hampton Manor to its first Michelin star. Find out more here (link to Toff’s blog). The reviews are in, and everybody is raving about the new destination!
Taste Collective vendors
If you’re always on the look-out for latest on the Solihull foodie scene, then Taste Collective is a must-visit. With a rotating roster of vendors, there’s something new to try every time.
This month, the venue is brimming with different culinary options guaranteed to suit everyone’s preferences, with everything from Egyptian street food served up at Cleopatra’s Kitchen to unbelievably cheesy pasta at Melting Wheel Pasta.
Sophie Bea
Mell Square is a buzzing spot for independent businesses, so we were really excited to welcome Sophie Bea to our womenswear line-up earlier this year. An independent clothing and accessories boutique which offers stylish, high-quality dresses, separates, and bags for women, the store has been a hit with our customers so far, so make sure they’re on the list for your next visit.
Tom Howley
Perfect for those hot on interior design trends, bespoke kitchen company Tom Howley opened in June, with the showroom sitting in the prime location of Mill Lane. Adding to the ultimate home offering we have here at Mell Square, the showroom highlights the enduring style of the country kitchen via three full-size kitchens, a walk-in pantry, a boot room and a separate presentation area with a media wall and office space. You can find out more here (link to Tom Howley blog).
Ping Pong Parlour
Ready for a summer of games? Ping Pong Parlour is now open on Poplar Way all week-long offering a unique and entertaining way to keep fit. And it’s the perfect place to keep the kids entertained!
Barnardo’s
Homeware, fashion, stationery, books – you name it, Barnardo’s really is a one-stop shop for all of your shopping needs. An Aladdin’s cave of treasures, you’ll find pre-loved clothing, homeware and toys at this store, and what’s better than knowing that you’re contributing to a brilliant cause in the Solihull community?
Pocket Geek
The place that will fulfil all of your tech-repair and purchase needs, Pocket Geek has been a fantastic addition to the square and has everything you need from screens to batteries and everything in between.
We have loved welcoming so many new tenants to Mell Square this year and watching the Solihull retail offering bloom – but we’re not done just yet!
