Shakespeare Revue coming to Solihull!

Hannah Elsy Productions is bringing Shakespeare Revue to Solihull on Tuesday 26th July. Commissioned by Solihull Borough Metropolitan Council as part of the series events marking The Queen’s Baton Relay through Solihull, it will perform at Lavender Hall Park, Balsall Common at 14:50 and at the Jubilee Gardens in Solihull Town Centre at 17:30.

 

Hailed as “a fun and furious 20 minute whistle-stopping through Shakespeare’s greatest hits”, the show promises excitement for all the family. Produced by Hannah Elsey of Hannah Elsy Productions’, the show is not the company’s first dealing with the Bard, with its 2020 production of Bard on the Yard being acclaimed as “funny and moving” (The Independent) and “a joy to experience” (The Upcoming).

 

Shakespeare Revue is directed by Will Holyhead, previously Associate Director of The King and I world tour, Associate Director of Curtains West End and Associate Director of Tell Me On A Sunday UK Tour. Starring Howard Horner and Luke Lane, with Horner’s previous credits including Northanger Abbey and The Three Musketeers, Lane’s including multiple roles with The Cambridge Shakespeare Festival, The Royal Theatrical Fund and The Quentin Dentin Show.
