Spotlight Solihull – Nicola Corfield

Tell us a little about you and what you do.

I’m Nicola Corfield, Sales and Marketing Manager at the Crowne Plaza Solihull. I promote the hotel to secure bedroom, meeting, and special event bookings, as well as promoting memberships to our leisure club, dining in our terrace restaurant and lounge and looking after the hotel’s social media channels.

I am also the Chair for the Tourism Forum for Visit Solihull, where I promote the event, showcase the best of the borough and advocate for more tourism to our wonderful region.

What do you love about Solihull?

Solihull literally has everything that you could possibly need, all in a picturesque, leafy, rural setting. It is the perfect mix of urban and rural, a city vibe but a town feel and it’s incredibly unique. We’re lucky to have such open spaces on our doorstop as well as the best in retail and hospitality.

How would you describe Solihull in three words to someone looking to visit?
