The Barn at Berryfields wins Best Restaurant award

The Barn at Berryfields has won Muddy Stiletto’s Best Restaurant in Warwickshire & West Midlands 2022.

Will Barber, owner and director, said: “As an independent, we’re honoured and absolutely over the moon after being announced as the Best Restaurant in Warwickshire and West Midlands 2022 winner.

“With nearly one-million votes across 28 counties and 27 categories, we feel so proud of our team and their hard work.

“Our A La Carte restaurant and private function room provides breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week with a signature Sunday roast. We focus on British cuisine, including fresh fish delivered multiple times a week.

“Many of the ingredients on our menus are created using food reared on our farm and prepared by our master butchers in our farm shop, grown in our kitchen garden and handmade in our bakery. All on our family-run farm in Warwickshire.”

The Barn at Berryfields also has a large outside seating area, providing a fantastic space to enjoy al fresco dining.

The outside area boasts a menu of hand-stretched pizzas, home-reared smashed burgers, handmade loaded flatbreads and loaded chips. There’s also a fully stocked  bar providing freshly-made cocktails, draught lager, wine and soft drinks. Both the A La Carte restaurant and outside area overlook beautiful countryside with the business’ own herds of Berryfields Hereford cattle and Berryfields Suffolk Red pigs roaming its fields. It’s also dog-friendly and has plenty of shade.

The Barn at Berryfields also has a farm shop where its butchery and bakery are located, handmaking and hand-preparing much of the restaurant’s ingredients which are also available for customers to purchase. It has a cosy cafe area where a coffee and a slice a cake can be enjoyed.

Looking forwards to rest of the year, the restaurant has Halloween and Christmas events lined up.

In the autumn, the events shed will be filled with thousands of hand-picked pumpkins, thanks to the 15,000 seeds planted in May, as well as animals, streetfood, a bar and music.

With a successful launch of eco-skating during Christmas 2021, the Barn at Berryfield’s skating rink is also making a return this year.

The rink is an environmentally friendly alternative to a traditional ice rink, which instead uses technology to create a thin layer of liquid without any water or energy usage, meaning zero CO2 emissions are produced.

At Christmas, the barn will welcome its two reindeer – Holly and Poppy – and like the Halloween event, be hosted in the events shed. Eco-skating will also be on offer as well as reindeer feeding, festive streetfood, bar and music.

More information about these two events will be released in due course.
