This Summer Resorts World celebrates the Olympics, Rewinds to the 90’s, Spins the Wheel and gets its Jazz On
It is a fun filled summer ahead at Resorts World. During July, the Resort will be celebrating the Olympics with a range of fun activities in the Atrium on the weekends of 24th and 25th and 30th and 31st of July.
After an absence of a couple of years, Spin the Wheel will be making a return on certain days during the summer! This is a fun, free to enter, game where Guests will have a chance at winning a range of prizes by spinning the wheel.
Although Resorts World itself only opened in the noughties, it will not stop us celebrating the great music and vibe of the 1990’s. On bank holiday Sunday, 25th August, the World Bar will be host to a Rewind 90’s Weekender featuring a DJ playing all the classic from Brittany to the Backstreet Boys plus a welcome drink and buffet. Tickets are available at £35 per person.
A Festival Fever event will also be taking place between noon and 5pm on Saturday 27th July in the World Bar. At just £10 per ticket, you will receive a welcome drink and a DJ will be playing “festival classics”, great food will be available, a fabulous range of drinks and there won’t be a Portaloo or trace of mud to be seen!
This year will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the legendary Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival during July. Resorts World is delighted to be part of the range venues hosting events as part of the Festival. In locations across the Resort free Jazz Festival gigs will take place on Friday 19th and 26th and Sunday 21st and 28th July.
On certain dates there will opportunities to stay at the Genting Hotel with a 25% discount on the room rate and the Santai Spa will also be offering discounts during the summer. As if that wasn’t enough the Secret Garden has launched a new fabulous cocktail menu so you can enjoy a rooftop drink during your visit.
Whether it is a chance to win a great prize, hear great music or enjoy at night of 90’s nostalgia, Resorts World will be the place to be this summer.
